Title:
CN 3000
Description:
CN Train 421 arrives at Port Robinson yard. Look closely at the brakeman's window. He's about to throw me a CN lapel pin in a little plastic package. (CN 3000 is the first of CN's 82 ET44ACs).

Title:
CN 3000
Description:
I didn't even see the brakeman toss the tiny plastic bag with the pin in it, and the bag ended up on the ground near where I had been set up for the shot with my tripod. It wasn't until the train finally stopped at the other end of the yard that Ken the brakeman approached me and told me the pin was still back where he tossed it.

Title:
CN 3000
Description:
Train 421 arrives. It was here that Ken the brakeman stepped off the train and approached me to tell me that he'd thrown the lapel pin out the window at me, way back at the north end of the yard! Naturally, I hopped right back into my car and sped back to find the pin laying in the grass where Ken had tossed it. Nice guy. Totally made my day.
